Wow, this is great. What amazes me most, is the pain threshold these guys are capable of enduring. True, at the end its mostly adrenalin. But to get to that point takes a lot of pain.. or so I'd imagine.
You should check out the finish from last years Chicago marathon. I love how she high fives and waves to people before it all falls apart.
