Will a mullet, slug, flattop combo ever be fashionable?

Remember the haircuts in the 80’s. I was talking to Kym from work the other day about the mullet – it is what we in Denmark call the Swedish haircut. Short on top and long at the back - Michael Bolton is one of the classics. A mullet may also be used to characterize those daring few with a single long piece of hair in an otherwise short haircut.

Apparently, the mullet is an accepted part of Australian culture. As to how the mullet style began, one theory has it that David Bowie pioneered the cut back in the early 1970's during his Ziggy Stardust period.

So what about a slug? A slug is another word for mustache. Combine that with a flattop (the lead singer of Depeche Mode, David Gahan, had a one in the 80’s) and a mullet and you are set-up for life. I can honestly say that I never have and never will be that bold.
